Complete Systems
Actuators are complete systems typically consisting of a gear set, bearing, case and electric motor. Actuators are always implemented as a custom solution. Depending on the customer requirement, they comprise additional components such as brakes, torque sensors, temperature sensors, position sensors, etc. The strain wave gear allows the use of a hollow shaft.
Electric motors are bought-in components. However, it is also possible to request an application-specific design from OVALO.
In addition, OVALO has extensive experience in the areas of controllers and power electronics, and develops custom control units (ECUs) for IIoT applications and integration in Industry 4.0 environments.
