Gear sets are the simplest type of strain wave gears and are offered in numerous versions and sizes. Consisting of three components – the flexspline, the circular spline, and the wave generator – they are designed for very high power density.

The component sets are suitable for customers who wish to integrate gears into an existing application. Due to their high single-stage reduction ratio, these zero backlash gears can be used to implement extremely compact applications. A suitable high-performance lubricant is available, in addition to support with integration and installation. Interfaces can be adapted individually. A central hollow shaft is available on request.

The gear sets are offered in selected standard sizes. For customers with special requirements OVALO also develops and produces custom solutions that are designed to the particular application.
